Battle of Passchendaele Commemorative Service 2026

Our service will commence at 11.00am, on Monday, 12 October. Kaiapoi Cenotaph, Raven Quay. Coffee can be purchased at the Kaiapoi Club after the service.

Armistice day –

Marks the exact moment fighting stopped on November 11, 1918 (the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month). We will remember those who died or suffered in World War I and all later wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping missions. In addition we name the seven trees planted at Murphy park to commemorate Passchendaele Walkway.

National Conference –

November 21-22nd, 2026 online conference. The committee shall arrange a location for members to watch the conference. TBC
